La città di Rapino è all’interno del Parco Nazionale della Majella, nel comprensorio della Comunità Montana Majelletta. E’ immersa nella tranquillità e nella bellezza di una natura incontaminata ed è ricca di storia e di forti tradizioni religiose. È un centro rinomato per le produzioni in ceramica della quale ospita un museo, per le coltivazioni di ulivi e per le testimonianze archeologiche, rinvenibili presso la Grotta del Colle e la Torre del Colle. Vive principalmente di turismo.
